Homemade Moisturizing Hair Masque

It’s time for some hair-therapy!

You’re an outgoing gal. You love to try different outfits, wear crazy lipsticks and, of course, try new hairstyles. But baby, all that heat on your hair is making it go everywhere! You probably find hair trapped in your drain, tangled in your brush, and balled up on the floor. You may have even noticed your hair feathering and splitting on the ends.

Bring on the hair-therapy— bring on the homemade hair masque!

Lush has created a recipe to prevent breakage! All you’ll need is a wide tooth comb and a shower cap.

Here’s the mix:

1 tbsp Olive oil

2 eggs (without yolk)

½ cup Almond milk

Once you’ve assembled your masque, douse it onto your pretty little mane, brush it through with a wide tooth comb, and tuck it away in a shower cap. Let the masque work it’s magic for 30 minutes to an hour.

This recipe is formulated to penetrate the hair shaft and save your damaged follicles.

Olive oil and egg whites are packed with protein to help repair damaged hair; the iron in almond milk helps strengthen hair.

If you’ve been trying to grow your hair out for a while, but it keeps breaking off, this masque is exactly what you should try. If you keep seeing the ends of your hair all over your blouse and need to use a lint roller to get them off, this is a masque you need!

Show your hair and yourself some lovin' and just spend an hour or less on working toward hair repair & rehabilitation.

xoxo,

Katie
